Now this is how you celebrate your 44th birthday! Too bad I didn't get the platter of fresh shucked oysters and the New Orleans steamed jumbo shrimp in the shot. And the fully loaded baked potato bar. And the prosecco. And the homemade chocolate cake. And our lovely friends around the table. Well, as my heroine M.F.K. Fisher once said matter of factly, "I was really quite hungry."
